She promotes inclusivity and has made many contributions in the area of player development. Martha also won the 2018 Private Merchandiser of the Year Award. For the second straight year, Discenza has earned this award which is given to a PGA Professional for their leadership qualities and outstanding contributions to professional education. In 2020, Discenza won the Youth Player Development Award. He was also elected secretary of the CNY PGA Board of Directors this month.

The Expo has been a local highlight each spring since 1994. It is one of the largest shows in central New York and typically showcases more than 140 home builders and remodelers. The event will feature displays exhibiting new products and services for local homeowners. The event will feature hundreds of exhibitors, offering homeowners one-stop shopping for ideas, experts and solutions to maintain, improve and remodel the home. Industry professionals, including Certified Aging in Place Specialists, will be available to answer questions about home improvements.
Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to the show which will be donated to the Food Bank. Catskill Shed Company will raffle off a brand-new shed, valued at $2,500. The 8’ x 12’ A-frame style shed is grey with white trim, with a window and a black metal roof will be on display during the CNY Home and Garden Show.

The mission of the Central New York PGA is to promote the game and business of golf in upstate New York. Our association represents the finest avenue for connecting with golf enthusiasts of all ages. With more than 100 facilities in the area, CNY PGA serves the members of our community through our instructional programs, tournaments, and membership programs. Pegler was a professor for thirty years in the Display & Exhibit Design Department at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. A leading expert in his field for over 60 years, Martin hosted seminars in the United States as well as in Latin America, Europe and the Pacific Rim.
He authored over 80 books and his textbook, Visual Merchandising and Display, is used in universities around the world. Martin was presented with a lifetime achievement award by PAVE, the Planning & Visual Education Partnership that supports retail design education for students and educators. He was also inducted into the Visual Merchandising and Display Industries’ Hall of Fame.
It is in a very good location in order to explore the city and the nearby lake on foot or by bicycle. Food there is really good, depending on the time of the year they offer season specialties - for example chanterelles - delicious ! The buffet is generously garnished with high-quality products. Traditional dishes are offered in the typical Bavarian brewing room. Prices are provided by our partners, and reflect average nightly room rates, including taxes and fees that are fixed, known to our partners, and due at time of booking.
